Spoor respects the rights of photographers, filmmakers, and other creators. If someone posted your work in Spoor without permission, you can ask us to remove it under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Reporting infringement

Send a written notice to our Designated Agent (below) that includes:

Your physical or electronic signature.
A description of the copyrighted work you believe was copied.
Where the material is in Spoor — the post link, username, or a screenshot showing it.
Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email.
A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them.

We will remove or disable access to the material and notify the person who posted it.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or you had permission, send a counter-notice to our Designated Agent with:

Your physical or electronic signature.
A description of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address, phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the US, any judicial district where SpoorHunt may be found), and that you will accept service from the person who filed the original notice.

If the original reporter does not file a lawsuit within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the content.

Repeat infringers

We will terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly post content that infringes others’ copyrights.

False claims

Knowingly making a false claim in a notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees.
