Terms of Service & End User License Agreement

Last updated: October 13, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and The Pew Estate LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as SpoorHunt (“SpoorHunt,” “we,” “us”). They govern your use of the Spoor Hunt and Spoor Outfitter mobile apps, spoorhunt.com, spoorhunt.app, and related services (together, “Spoor”). These Terms also serve as Spoor’s End User License Agreement (EULA) on the Apple App Store and Google Play. By downloading or using Spoor, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use Spoor.

These Terms include, by reference, the following policies:

  • Privacy Policy
  • Safety & Liability Disclaimer
  • Subscription & Refund Terms
  • Community Guidelines
  • Account Deletion Policy
  • Copyright & DMCA Policy
  • Outfitter Account Terms (Outfitter accounts only)

1. Who can use Spoor

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live. Users aged 13 to 17 may use Spoor only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on their behalf. Spoor is not for children under 13. You must give accurate information when you create an account and keep your login and any access codes secure.

2. License to use the app

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Spoor on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use (or, for Outfitters, to run your hunting operation), subject to these Terms and the usage rules of the app store you got it from. You may not:

  • copy, modify, or create derivative works of Spoor;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or try to extract its source code, except where the law allows;
  • rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or redistribute Spoor;
  • scrape data, bypass security or access codes, or interfere with Spoor’s servers;
  • use Spoor for anything illegal, including poaching, trespassing, or unlawful firearm transfers.

3. Your account and access codes

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Trip access codes are issued by an Outfitter or trip leader; sharing them with people outside the trip is not allowed. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think your account or a code was misused.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, video, trip reports, waypoints, and other content you post (“Your Content”). You give SpoorHunt a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and share Your Content within Spoor as your settings allow, and to make copies needed to run the service. We will not use Your Content in advertising outside Spoor without your permission. You confirm you have the rights to everything you post and that it follows the Community Guidelines. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.

5. Location data

Spoor uses your location when you mark a harvest or a pin, or record your track on the map. Your track is recorded only while the app is open on the screen. You can turn location off at any time in your device settings, though some features won’t work. How we handle location data is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Hunting, safety, and the law

You are solely responsible for following all hunting, wildlife, firearm, land-access, and import/export laws, and for holding every license and tag you need. Maps, GPS, weather, and other information in Spoor may be wrong. Read the Safety & Liability Disclaimer; it is part of these Terms.

7. Subscriptions and payments

Some features require a paid subscription, sold through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or on spoorhunt.com. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are covered in the Subscription & Refund Terms. Spoor does not sell firearms, ammunition, or weapon parts.

8. Outfitters and third parties

Outfitters, guides, and other businesses in Spoor are independent. We are not responsible for their services, conduct, or bookings. Spoor may link to or use third-party services, such as maps and weather; their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Our intellectual property

Spoor, including its software, design, logos, and the Spoor and SpoorHunt names, belongs to The Pew Estate LLC and is protected by law. These Terms do not give you any rights to our trademarks.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Spoor and delete your account at any time (see the Account Deletion Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we discontinue Spoor. The license in Section 2 ends when your access ends. Sections 4 (license to content already shared, until deleted), 6, and 11 through 16 survive termination.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

Spoor is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that Spoor will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available without a signal.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Pew Estate LLC and its owners, contractors, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any injury, death, property damage, fines, or loss of licenses arising from your hunting activity or your use of, or reliance on, Spoor. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Spoor in the 12 months before the claim or US $50.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless The Pew Estate LLC and its owners and contractors from claims arising from Your Content, your hunting activity, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, you agree to email [email protected] and try to resolve it informally for 30 days.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will notify you in the app or by email at least 15 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Spoor after that means you accept the updated Terms.

16. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and SpoorHunt about Spoor. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

17. Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded Spoor from the Apple App Store, these additional terms apply:

  1. Parties. These Terms are between you and SpoorHunt only, not Apple. SpoorHunt, not Apple, is solely responsible for Spoor and its content.
  2. Scope of license. Your license is limited to use on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that Spoor may be accessed by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
  3. Maintenance and support. SpoorHunt is solely responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Spoor.
  4. Warranty. SpoorHunt is solely responsible for any product warranties not effectively disclaimed. If Spoor fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Spoor.
  5. Product claims. SpoorHunt, not Apple, is responsible for any claims relating to Spoor or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that Spoor fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection, privacy, or similar laws.
  6. Intellectual property. If a third party claims that Spoor or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, SpoorHunt, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
  7. Legal compliance. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  8. Developer contact. Questions, complaints, or claims: The Pew Estate LLC, d/b/a SpoorHunt, 13200 NW 43rd Ave, Unit F, Opa-locka, Florida 33054; [email protected].
  9. Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms, such as your wireless data service agreement, when using Spoor.
  10. Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, once you accept them, Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

18. Google Play

If you downloaded Spoor from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your purchase. If they conflict with these Terms about the purchase itself, Google’s terms control.
